Red Door Gallery Edinburgh
We want to give a special thanks to the Red Door Gallery who have kindly donated an exclusive screen print by David Fleck, ‘Baucis: The Tree City’ worth £50. This beautiful limited edition print is inspired by the book ‘Invisible Cities’ by Italo Calvino: ”On the ground the inhabitants rarely show themselves: having already everything they need up there, they prefer not to come down. Nothing of the city touches the ground except those long, flamingo legs on which it rests and, when the days are sunny, a pierced, angular shadow that falls on the foliage.”
The Red Door Gallery is situated in the heart of the Old Town and supports independent artists and designers, showing works by emerging talents and established professionals. With rotating exhibitions of prints and illustrations, creative stationary products, home-wares, fashion accessories and jewellery, artist’s zines and lots lots more the Red Door Gallery offers a unique shopping experience in Edinburgh.
ACJ Edinburgh is proud to have their support for Eccentri:city.
